WHAT’S ON AT DISTRICTMX — FEBRUARY 2026
LOS CABOS • LOCAL TIME (MST)
February at DistrictMX is built for big daytime moments and high-impact weekends. Between the Winter Olympics, Super Bowl Sunday, and stacked Saturday fight nights, expect a month that drives lunch traffic, early viewing, and packed prime-time tables.
Our weekly rituals keep the energy steady every day, with Happy Hour, Wine Wednesday, Secret Waiter Tuesday, and Dice Night Thursdays — plus PGA, NHL, NBA, and tennis reruns on screens daily. Soccer is always available upon guest request.
DAILY RITUALS
ALL MONTH • 4–6 PM HAPPY HOUR
Make February a DistrictMX habit. Enjoy Happy Hour daily from 4–6 PM (not on Super Bowl Sunday), Wine Wednesday all day, Secret Waiter Tuesday surprises, and Dice Night Thursdays from 6–10 PM.
Pair it with the coldest beer in the Baja and daily screen coverage (PGA, NHL, NBA, tennis reruns). If you want soccer, just ask — we’ll put it on whenever possible.
WINTER OLYMPICS
FEB 6–22 • KEY MOMENTS AT NOON
The Winter Olympics bring global, daytime programming that’s perfect for lunch, early drinks, and afternoon watch parties. Because most events run on a Europe-based time zone, daytime is the main live window — and evenings are powered by reruns of the biggest moments.
Don’t miss the Opening Ceremony (Fri, Feb 6) and Closing Ceremony (Sun, Feb 22), both around 12:00 PM with sound ON, plus the first medal weekend (Feb 7–8) and the final medal weekend (Feb 21–22).
SUPER BOWL SUNDAY
SUNDAY, FEB 8 • FULL SOUND
Super Bowl Sunday is the biggest single-day event of the month at DistrictMX. We run full sound and all screens so you never miss a play, with DJ energy, decorations, and a family-friendly early atmosphere.
Happy Hour is off for the day — we’re focused on the full Super Bowl experience: great food, cold drinks, and the kind of crowd that makes every touchdown feel louder.
VALENTINE’S DAY
SATURDAY, FEB 14 • DINNER + LIVE MUSIC
Valentine’s Day at DistrictMX is designed for couples and early dinners with a romantic, relaxed vibe. Soul Collective performs live, red roses set the tone, and a special Valentine’s menu anchors the night.
Sports stay on the screens, but fight sound stays OFF — this night is about great food, great music, and a perfect atmosphere for date night in San José del Cabo.
BOXING SATURDAYS
FEB 14, 21 & 28 • SOUND ON (SELECT)
On select Saturdays, boxing becomes the main event — which can override live music and shift the entire room into fight-night mode. If you love big punches and high stakes, February has the nights you’re looking for.
Feb 21 (Barrios vs García) and Feb 28 (Navarrete vs Núñez) are major nights with sound ON. Feb 14 (Ajagba vs Martin) runs ambient-only due to Valentine’s programming.
UFC FIGHT NIGHTS
FEB 7, 21 & 28 • ~7:00 PM
February features Fight Nights (no numbered PPV), delivering consistent Saturday action and a strong combat-sports crowd. Expect full attention on the screens, tight pacing, and big moments all night.
Highlights include Sean Strickland vs Anthony Hernandez (Feb 21) and Brandon Moreno 🇲🇽 vs Asu Almabayev (Feb 28), a must-watch for Mexico fans. Sound decisions may adapt if boxing overlaps.
DAYTONA 500 + SPECIAL EVENT
SUNDAY, FEB 15 • AFTERNOON
Sunday, Feb 15 is a big daytime draw: the Daytona 500 brings strong U.S. tourist interest and makes for an ideal afternoon watch party with drinks, bites, and big-screen racing.
It’s also Tom Potecuk’s 50th Birthday at DistrictMX — expect DJ energy and a special guest vibe layered into a busy Sunday lineup.
PGA + SOCCER ALL MONTH
ALL MONTH • GREAT DAYTIME VIEWING
PGA coverage is excellent in February and plays perfectly during lunch and Happy Hour windows — including the WM Phoenix Open (Feb 5–8) and the Genesis Invitational (Feb 19–22). It’s relaxed, high-quality viewing that keeps screens active all day.
Soccer runs all month too: UEFA Champions League knockouts (mid–late Feb), Liga MX Clausura weekends, and EPL/La Liga mornings. Ask our team and we’ll put your match on whenever available.
